1 John 2:27

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Through Psalms 21 (page 720)

Job 24
:1 - Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days? ~Good question!
:2 - landmarks = borders, boundaries http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=H1367&t=KJV

Job 25
Bildad speaks for only 6 verses!

Job 26
Job rises up and questions his friends.

Job 27
:6 - My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach [me] so long as I live. ~So many of Job's expressions of words are very potent considering the condition of his life and physical body.  What a role model he is for glorifying God in the middle of no-matter-what!!!

Job 28
:3 - He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, [=spiritual unreceptivity, calamity (fig.)]  and the shadow of death. ~If we are the lively stones building up the house of God, then what are these stones of darkness?
:11 - He bindeth the floods from overflowing; and [the thing that is] hid bringeth he forth to light.
Job speaks of the preciousness of wisdom.
:28 - And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that [is] wisdom; and to depart from evil [is] understanding.

Job 29
Job remembers the good ol' days...As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God [was] upon my tabernacle (:4)
:6 - When I washed my steps with butter ~This is either very spiritual, or one of those expressions lost in translation...

Job 30
:17 - sinews = to gnaw, chew ~ perhaps like the gnashing of teeth Jesus often spoke of http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=H6207&t=KJV
:23 - the house appointed for all living. ~ The Father's House?  Back then it was Father Abraham's bosom everyone looked forward to going after death...

Job 31
:22 - Instead of May lightning strike me [if I'm lying], Job says, Let mine arm fall from my shoulder blade, and be broken from the bone

Job 32
Elihu - not one of the three friends - speaks up.
[I said], I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.
For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.
Behold, my belly [is] as wine [which] hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.
I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.
(:17 - :20)

~I really appreciate this young guy stepping up and finally delivering the message that God was the one putting all this on Job.  :13 - God thrusteth him down, not man.

Job 33
:15 - :16 -
In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;  Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, ~God teaches us when we sleep.  That gives a whole new perspective on dreams.
:23-25 - If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness: Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom. His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:
~God's fountain of youth-being a messenger to show man his uprightness:30 - To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.

Job 34
:31-32 - Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne [chastisement], I will not offend [any more]: [That which] I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.
~Chastisement brings deliverance from offense.  Ask to be taught what we can't see.

Job 35
Not sure whose side Elihu is on.

Job 36
:2 - Elihu thinks he speaks on God's behalf

Job 37
:13 - Rain is for 3 things:  correction, for land, or for mercy

Job 38
GOD FINALLY SPEAKS...AND ANSWERS JOB!!!!  But not with any sympathy...(:3)
:7 - all the sons of God shouted for joy ~We're still shouting!
:32 - God acknowledges the zodiac Mazzaroth http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=H4216&t=KJV
Every time I think of the book and story of Job, I am amazed at the same 3 things:  1) Job had terrible friends 2)God waited 37 chapters to speak to Job 3)When God finally speaks, he acts as though he is disciplining Job, when He is the one that started all the torment in the first place as he was bragging on Job to Satan [ok, 5 things - 4)that God started it & 5)Satan gathered with the sons of God]

Job 39
God has a lot to say, finally, and uses many examples from nature.

Job 40
:15 - behemoth = a dinosaur? http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=H930&t=KJV
Most of this chapter God speaks of this creature and the ox.

Job 41
Leviathan=dragon? http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=H3882&t=KJV
God seems to be speaking of the largest creatures of nature to make a point that Job, nor any human, can control them as He can.  God is God, and that is it.  Maybe this is to take Job's mind off his own problems?  Think big?  Think God?

Job 42
God demands from Job previously, so now Job demands answers from God.
Then God rebukes the three "friends," but not Elihu.
:10 - And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Talk about praying for your enemies!  And winning the lotto with God!  Wow, that is a great reward.  Double his millionaire status.  And then (:14) names the 3 daughters, but not the sons.
Jemima = day by day http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=H3224&t=KJV
Kezia = cassia (one of the spices used in anointing oil) http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=H7103&t=KJV
Kerenhappuch = horn of antimony/paint http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=H7163&t=KJV

:4 - He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh
derision = to mock, deride, ridicule
:7 - Same quote as when the dove descended onto Jesus

:8 - heathen = inheritance
possession = parts of the earth
*This is a good prayer to claim when it comes to the 10/40 window, which is said to be the part of the world having the least exposure to the Gospel.
:12 - Kiss the Son = could also be translated to Be equipped with the heir http://www.blogger.com/goog_1219162560 &
http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=H1248&t=KJV
 Psalm 3
"Youre my Glory" by Terry MacAlmon contains the words of this Psalm.  Anointed song.

Psalms 4
:3 - The LORD sets apart the godly for Himself
:4 - Commune with your own heart upon your bed and be still
~This Psalm seems to contain instruction about why and how to lead a solitary life in the LORD, which is often what it feels like in this world--solitary.

Psalms 5
:3 - David commits to praying in the morning.
Is Nehiloth the chief musician? Or the instrument with which the Psalm should be played?
:6 - leasing = a lie, untruth, falsehood, deceptive thing http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=H3577&t=KJV

Psalms 8
Gittith = 1) a musical instrument? from Gath? and used in three Psalm titles - 8, 81, 84; a song title used for the Feast of Booths

Psalms 9

:14 - gates of the daughters of Zion

Psalms 10
I wonder how this Psalm sounded?  Wickedness and enemies...probably minor key.

Psalms 11
:4 - God has eyelids.

Psalms 12
:6 - The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Psalms 13
Good Psalm for the lost and lonely.

Psalms 15
How to never be moved and abide in God.

Psalms 16
:10 - 11 - For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. The soul can be in hell even when it is in a live person.

Psalms 17
:15 -  I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
YES!!!

Psalms 18

:11 - 12 - He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.  At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.God lives in darkness.

Psalms 19
I was actually looking for another song, but found this one!  Even better!  So many wonderful modern praise songs are based on David's Psalms!

Psalms 20
:6 - Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

Psalms 21

David talks to God king to King
