Luke 1
:3 - Who was Theophilus?
:11- The first time I've read of an angelic appearance inside the temple.
:17 - spirit and power of Elias = Elijah
:18 - Reminds me of Abraham and Sarah-conceiving in their old age.
:19 - Interesting that it says "I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God" instead of stands, which would be appropriate for singular entity
~This is the first Gospel that has recorded John the Baptist's birth story.~
:26 - So Jesus is only 6 months younger than John the Baptist?
:56 - Mary lived with Elisabeth 3 months...Mary's 1st Trimester, Elisabeth's 3rd.

Luke 2
:3 - Thank God we can pay taxes through the mail now!  Wow!  What a hassle!
Jesus' Birth, Circumcision, blessing from Simeon, and then age 12 about "Father's business."

Luke 3
:22 - Spirit = Dove, Jesus = in the flesh/in person, voice = Father----the Trinity of God meets simultaneously

Luke 4

:7 – Did the devil actually think that Jesus didn't know who his Father was?

:9-10 – It doesn't even say that he commanded the servant to be healed. He just made that comment
When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.  And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.

:1-12 – Jesus' school of ministry

:29 – 30 – I wonder how long the lawyer had to wait for Jesus' answer with this parable/example. Did Jesus pause and make him wait? I hope so!
