1 John 2:27

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

p.1350 Through John 20

John 4

:5 – Sychar?

:26 – He directly tells her who He is, even though to others he says to keep it quiet. I love the story of the first lady evangelist! Well woman!

John 5

:2 – Bethesda had 5 porches

:4 – Supernatural healing from God was taking place even before Jesus got there.

John 6

:33 – For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

:44 – No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.  - we must be drawn

:63 - It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life. ~FAVORITES~

John 7

:15 – So he never went to their school?  Ok.  That's the standard! Hear from God!

:31 – I have thought about this in the way of “How could they not believe with all these works?”

John 8
:12 - Follow the light!
:18 - We can also quote this and claim it today.  The Father bears witness to us.
:31-32 - It takes following Christ to be freed in knowing the Truth.
:56 - Abraham rejoiced to see Jesus' day?  Or the day of Christ?  Or one of the days of the Son of Man that Jesus often refers to?
John 9
:14 - It's almost like Jesus preferred to heal the sick on the Sabbath just to mess with those religiousites!
:25 - I've always loved this statement.
:34 - Churches still cast out the real people with real experiences of God.  And miracles.  Ask me how I know.

John 10
:1-5 - The shepherd calls the names of the sheep to come out of the sheepfold.  Amazing.  Never thought of that part of this, just the part about that we know his voice since we're His sheep!
:22 - feast of the dedication
:41 - John (the baptist) did no miracles
John 11
:8 & :16 - They thought they would die going back to Judea after those people had already tried to kill Jesus for some of his words.
:54 - Ephraim
John 12
:3 - People talk about this as if Mary were just so thankful for being forgiven, but maybe also she was so thankful that Jesus raised her brother from the dead!
:28 - The Father speaks audibly from heaven again

John 13
:27 - As if Jesus orchestrates his own betrayal.
John 14
I just love the whole chapter!
John 15
Abide in love.

John 16
Jesus' last instructions to the remaining disciples...
:29-30 - They're blessed that he's not using parables to speak to them.
John 17
Jesus prays in public...at least around his disciples.
John 18
Jesus betrayal.  My tears.

John 19
Judgment at :13 - Pavement = Hebrew word Gabbatha
Crucifixion
:38-39 - Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemas both come to bury Jesus.
John 20
Resurrection!
:16 - Mary is the first one to know Jesus is alive and back!
